In a controversial remark, Congress leader Narayan Rao from Karnataka took the jibe game to a whole new level by calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘namard.’ B Narayan Rao, an MLA from Basavakalyan in Bidar district, also said that Narendra Modi is not a prime minister who works.
“Namard hai use Shaadi ho Sakti hai, aulaad nahi hote. Modi se shaadi ho sakti hai, aulaad nahi hoti. Ye kaam karne wala prime minister nahi hai, ye jhooth bolne wala prime minister hai, [Namards can get married but can't have children. PM Modi can get married but cannot have children. This prime minister is a not a prime minister who works but a prime minister who lies]" said Rao, reported India Today.
Around a week ago, Congress leader from Telangana, Vijaya Shanti, while addressing a rally in Telangana's Shamshabad compared the Prime Minister to a "terrorist".
"People are scared as they don't know which kind of bomb Modi will throw when. Modi looks like a terrorist," said Shanti.
