Actor Jiah Khan’s Mother Accuses Salman Of Hampering Probe Into Her Daughter’s Suicide To Protect Sooraj Pancholi

After the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput by suicide on 14 June, a row of allegations and revelation has begun in the Hindi film industry. On social media, powerful families of Bollywood and several A-list actors and filmmakers have been accused of nepotism and giving bad treatment to outsiders.

New in the list is actor Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Amin who has alleged that actor Salman Khan sabotaged hampered the investigation into her daughter’s death, News18 reported. ‘Ghajini’ famed Khan had died by suicide on 3 June in 2013.

In a video released by SpotboyE, Amin said Salman Khan has often misused his money power and other resources to prevent actor Sooraj Pancholi, Jiah Khan’s alleged boyfriend at that time, from interrogation.

“What happened with Sushant, has reminded me of 2015 when I went to meet CBI officer who had called me down from London. He said please come, we have found some incriminating evidence. I land up over there and he says, ‘Oh, by the way, Salman khan calls me every day and says he has invested a lot of money, please don’t harass the boy, please don’t interrogate him, don’t touch him. So what can we do, madam’? He was annoyed, he looked frustrated,” she says in the video.

Amin, in the video, also urged people to stand up for the right, fight and end the toxicity in the industry.

According to initial police investigation, a note had been recovered from her house purportedly written by her, which which she mentioned about her relationship issues with Pancholi. This resulted in the young actor being booked with the charges of abetment of suicide.

Salman Khan and his family, recently, was also accused by Dabangg director Abhinav Singh Kashyap of ruining his career and threatening him with life. The director, in this Facebook post, alleged that the Khan family made sure he lost many good projects after his rift with Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan after first Dabangg movie.
