Coronavirus Update: Total Covid-19 Cases In India Rise To 5,734; Here’s The Latest State-Wise Breakup

The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 5,734 while 166 deaths were reported across the country, as per the latest data updated at 8 am today (9 April) by the Health Ministry.

According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 5,663 Indians and 71 foreign nationals.

Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients have risen to 472, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.

The total number of active cases across the country stand at 5,095 at the time of writing this report.
