Coronavirus Update: With 2,900 New Cases, India’s Covid-19 Tally Rises To 46,433; Here’s The Latest State-Wise Breakup

The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 46,433 while 1,568 deaths were reported across the country, as per the latest data updated at 8 am today (5 May) by the Health Ministry.

According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 46,322 Indians and 111 foreign nationals.

India has reported 2,900 Covid-19 positive cases in the past 24 hours.

Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients has risen to 12,726, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.

The total number of active cases across the country stands at 32,138 at the time of writing this report.
