The Government of India is reportedly working on a scheme due to which students will be encouraged to educate elders back home, Union Minister for Human Resources Development, Prakash Javadekar, has announced.
After paying a visit to a family in Jaipur, Javadekar interacted with students there and encouraged them to support their elders at home by educating them. Jagranjosh quoted him as saying, “Preparations are underway and the scheme will be launched in two months. We will also issue study material.”
Javadekar also happens to be the Rajasthan poll-in-charge for the Bharatiya Janata Party. Vividly travelling across the state, he engaged in conversation with citizens in the state and received feedback on the performance of the state and central governments.
BJP leaders such as Minister of Health for Rajasthan, Kalicharan Saraf, and Jaipur Mayor Ashok Lahoti were present.
