Soon after Amit Shah took charge as Union Home Minister, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has come up with a hit list of top 10 terrorists operating in the Kashmir valley.
The list, which is prepared after taking inputs from the intelligence agencies and security personnel, includes the names of some of the most wanted terrorists belonging to the Pakistan-based outfits - Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
LeT commander Wasim Ahmed alias Osama, HM chief Riyaz Naikoo alias Mohammed Bin Qasim are some of the top names in the list, reports India.com News.
Other names in the list include: Javed Mattoo, Divisional Commander of Al Badar in North Kashmir; Zaheed Sheikh of JeM; Ezaz Ahmad Malik, recently appointed district commander of HM in Kupwara; Hafiz Omar, operational commander of JeM; Mehrazuddin District Commander of HM in Baramulla; Arshad ul Haq, District Commander of HM in Pulwama; Dr Saifullah who is actively trying to increase the HM cadre in Valley.
According to the report, the Home Minister, after taking charge, met with J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, secretary of Home Rajiv Gauba Director of the Intelligence Bureau Rajiv Jain, RAW chief Anil Dhasmana and senior officials of the home ministry. Shah reportedly instructed the officials to maintain zero-tolerance towards terrorism across the country and remain unfazed by the criticism.
