IPL 2021 Suspended Indefinitely Over Multiple Covid-19 Cases: BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 edition has been suspended indefinitely as multiple players across the eight teams have tested positive for the coronavirus. The development was made public by the BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla.

As per the reports, the BCCI stated, “The Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an emergency meeting has unanimously decided to postpone IPL 2021 season, with immediate effect.”
