Islamists Slam Mohammad Shami And His Daughter For Celebrating Hindu Puja; Question Their ‘Muslim  Credentials’

Fast bowler Mohammad Shami was trolled by Islamists on Instagram after he posted a picture of his daughter standing at a Hindu puja ceremony with a caption, "Looking so sweet beta love you so much god bless you beta see you soon”, reports Times Of India.

In the picture, Shami’s daughter can be seen wearing a traditional saree while standing before what appears to be a Saraswati Puja.

Many Islamists on Instagram though were angered by Shami’s post and made comments like:

• Muslims in India are turning into Hindus - facepalm
• Apne ap ko secular batane k liye ye sab karne ki zaroorat ni he..ham apne Hindu bhai se bhi mohabbat karte he lekin ye tariqa ni he unse mohabbat jatane k (you don’t need to do this to profess your secularism, we like our Hindu brothers but such things are not warranted)
• Bhaiya kyu bagwaan ki pooja kar rahe hi (Brother why are you worshipping Hindu god)
• Aap muslim ho to beti kese hindu hai (You are a Muslim then why is your daughter a Hindu)
• What a shocking pic..shami is a Muslim but girl in Hindu dress up
• Dear shami plz don't write Muhammad with ur name it is our humble request
• Bhai aap Muslim ho yh sawaal apne aap se poocho (brother ask yourself if you are a Muslim or not)

This is not the first time Shami has been attacked by Islamists. In January 2018 Shami was trolled for a tweet wishing everyone a happy new year with an image of a Shiva Lingam. He was also attacked in the past over pictures of his now estranged wife.
