Lalu Yadav Crosses All Lines Of Decency, Abuses Narendra Modi and Amit Shah

BySwarajya Staff

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, who was campaigning for the Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance in Rae Bareli and Amethi on Tuesday, crossed all lines of decency to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him hijra at one point.

"Hijra bhaiyon ki tarah taali baja baja ke bolta hai. Aise aise... (Like our eunuch brothers, Modi also keep clapping during his speech, like this...)," Yadav was quoted by Times of India as saying.

Making fun of Modi’s parliament speech, given following President’s address, he said, “Tum kiska kiska bathroom mein gaya hai? Aur Manmohan ko dekha to kya dekha. Kaisa durbhagya hai ki aisa PM ban gaya. (Modi is losing ground in UP and his BP has risen. He has a bad habit of peeping into bathrooms. Who else's bathrooms has he peeped into? It is unfortunate such a man became our PM)."

Yadav did not stop there and hurled abuse at Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah. He called Shah genda and claimed that the leader got stuck in a lift in Patna city in 2015 because he is ‘fat’.

Lalu said, "Amit Shah genda hai. Genda nahi hota to lift mein na phasta. Agli baar aaye to bata de, hum baalti mein bitha ke tanga denge (Amit Shah is a rhinoceros. That's why he got stuck in an elevator. Next time, we'll put him in a bucket and heave him upstairs).”

He added, "Amit Shah bahut ganda ganda baat bolta hai. Gau mans ka baat kiya, beef ka baat kiya. Modi bola Lalu apne bachchon ko settle karne ke liye gathbandhan kiya. Unko ladke bacche nahin hain toh hum kya karein? (Amit Shah said many dirty things. He spoke of beef. Modi said I did gathbandhan to settle my children. If he doesn't have a family or children, am I responsible?)."

This shouldn’t come as a surprise because Modi has been a target of abuse ever since he assumed office in 2014. The Congress has, at various occasions, called him a ‘murderer’. Not so long ago, he was accused of “khoon ki dalali” by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for having taken a tough position on Pakistan.
