The Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) is likely to complete the remaining work on all eight elevated metro stations between K D Singh stadium and Munshipulia by December 2018, Metro Rail News has reported.
The managing director of the LMRC, Kumar Keshav had reviewed the progress of the project. Keshav has expressed his satisfaction on the progress of the project and appreciated the entire team along with the metro officials.
The construction work on the north-south corridor (phase 1-A) of the project is going on in full swing. The installation work of U-Girders (phase 1-A) is almost complete.
The structural framework of all the stations in the section is ready and finishing process is being carried out on them.
The construction work of the entry and exit gates of Munshipulia, Indira Nagar, RS Mishra, Badshah Nagar, IT and KD Singh Stadium Metro stations has been finished. Tiling and flooring work on the station control room (SCR), UPS room, security room and property development is 70 per cent complete.
Track laying work along with Over Head Electrification (OHE) is being carried out between K D Singh stadium and Munshipulia. Whitewashing of most of the metro stations is being done in full speed.
Keshav has instructed the executing agencies to speed up the work and complete it by December 2018.
