Popular Fox News Anchor Tucker Carlson Alleges That The New York Times Is Planning To Reveal His Home Address In A Bid To Intimidate Him

Noted American political commentator and Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Monday (Jul 20) alleged that New York Times was going to publish the location of his family’s home in an upcoming story in an attempt to intimidate him.

During the final minutes of his hugely popular show Tucker Carlson Tonight, which recently shattered the record for highest-rated program in U.S. cable news history, a combative Carlson claimed that NYT was “working on a story about where my family and I live” because “They hate my politics. They want this show off the air” and “to inflict pain on our family.”

“As a matter of journalism, there is no conceivable justification for a story like that. The paper is not alleging we’ve done anything wrong, and we haven’t. We pay our taxes. We like our neighbors. We’ve never had a dispute with anyone. So why is The New York Times doing a story on the location of my family’s house? Well, you know why. To hurt us, to injure my wife and kids so that I will shut up and stop disagreeing with them,” Carlson said, adding “Editors there know exactly what will happen to my family when it does run. I called them today, and I told them. But they didn’t care. They hate my politics. They want this show off the air. If one of my children gets hurt because of a story they wrote, they won’t consider it collateral damage. They know it’s the whole point of the exercise: To inflict pain on our family, to terrorize us, to control, we say. That’s the kind of people they are.” Carlson said in a fiery monologue

Carlson recalled an incident in 2018 when his Washington, D.C. address was made public, resulting in Antifa activists showing up outside his residence ultimately forcing his family to relocate to a new home as they continued to receive threats.

Carlson had once disclosed why he does not visit restaurants anymore because of the constant verbal abuse from the left-wing activists including an incident when a man abused his teenage daughter calling her a "whore" at at a club in Charlottesville.

Fox News host identified freelance journalist Murray Carpenter as the author of an upcoming NYT story.

“How would Murray Carpenter and his photographer, Tristan Spinski, feel if we told you where they live, if we put pictures of their homes on the air?” Carlson posed a question. “We could do that. We know who they are.” he added.

NYT denied the allegation levelled by Carlson."While we do not confirm what may or may publish in future editions, The Times has not and does not plan to expose any residence of Tucker Carlson’s, which Carlson was aware of before tonight’s broadcast."
