Supreme Court To Hear Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid Case On 11 August

The Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid case has been scheduled for hearing by a three-judge bench at the Supreme Court for 11 August, reported Live Law.

It’s been seven years since the Allahabad High Court ruling which said Lord Ram was indeed born at the disputed site and that Hindus had a right to worship there.

The Court had also directed the division of the 2.77 acre land equally between the three parties to the case, Sunni Waqf Board, Nirmohi Akhara and the ‘Ram Lalla’ (nascent Lord Ram).

The 30 September 2010 ruling was however stayed by the Supreme Court after an appeal by the Sunni Waqf Board and other parties.
