Teach Alexa To Dance To Your Tune: Indian Users Can Now Add Personalised Skills, Responses On Amazon Assistant

The ‘Alexa Skill Blueprints’ released by Amazon will enable users to create personalised skills and responses for the voice-based assistant Amazon Alexa in India, reports the Telecom talk.

To enable the feature, users will have to select a blueprint template from Alex Skill blueprints website, where users can browse and choose from 30 blueprints, from four categories- Fun and Games, Learning and Knowledge, At Home and Storyteller, Amazon said in a statement.

“Personalised skills and responses make Alexa even more knowledgeable, delivering a delightful experience that is unique to you and your family,” Dilip RS, Country Manager, Alexa Skills, Amazon India, said in a statement.

The feature will allow the creation and sharing of unlimited personalised skills with family and friends via email, text, WhatsApp and social media platforms of Facebook and Twitter. Users can customise responses and also create interactive adventure stories for children.

Once the skills and responses are created, they are immediately uploaded on all the devices associated with their accounts. “Alexa Skill Blueprints” is now available for the Indian users.
