To Improve Board Exam Results, Government Schools To Start Extra-Class For CBSE Class 10, 12 Students

Taking early steps for improving the board exam results, the Education Directorate has asked government schools to provide one-hour extra class for class 10 and 12 students, reports Hindustan.

According to the report, the extra class will be held to fulfil the needs of the weaker students. The class-teacher will be responsible for gaining consent of the parents for the extra class, and school head will decide on the subjects to be taken up in the class.

The government has issued the direction in the benefit of the weaker students in class 10 and 12. After the extra-class, the students will also receive home-work and a daily record will be maintained by the teacher. School heads have been directed to fix responsibility on teachers for weak students.
