The Uddhav Thackeray led Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi coalition finally announced the portfolio allocation in the state government on Thursday (12 December).
Here’s the list of allocation party wise.
Shiv Sena
As per reports, Shiv Sena’s senior leader Eknath Shinde has been allocated the Home Ministry along with Urban Development, Environment, PWD, Tourism and Parliamentary Works.
Shiv Sena’s Subhash Desai has been given charge of Industry, Higher and Technical Education, Sports and Youth Employment.
NCP
NCP’s senior leader Chhagan Bhujbal has been allocated Rural Development, Social Justice, Water Resources, State Excise. Jayant Patil will become the Finance and Planning, Housing, Food Supply and Labour minister.
Congress
Congress’ Balasaheb Thorat has been given charge of Revenue, School Education, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries.
Nitin Raut of the Congress has been given charge of PWD Tribal development, OBC Development, Women and Child development - Relief and rehabilitation.
