A recount of the presidential vote in the state of Wisconsin in the United States has certified the victory of President-elect Donald Trump and even increased his victory margin by 131 votes.
The Wisconsin Election Commission reported that Trump added 844 votes to his total in the 8 November elections while Clinton added 713.
The Wisconsin recount was requested by Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, who barely received 1 per cent of the votes. Claiming alleged hacking on voting machines, Stein also asked for recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania. However, courts in both states rejected the request. Trump had won by about 44,000 votes in Pennsylvania and about 11,000 in Michigan.
