The Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh has intensified its war against corruption and on Sunday (3 June) suspended the Director of Animal Husbandry department and five other senior officers in connection with a recruitment scam which purportedly happened during the previous Samajwadi Party (SP) regime, Dainik Jagran has reported.
Besides this, the UP police also arrested a senior official over a recruitment scam in the revenue department which too happened during the SP regime. This is said to have taken place following an order given by Yogi Adityanath himself to begin action in the scam cases.
Officials found guilty in preliminary inquiry of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Society Bank’s recruitment of assistant managers have also been suspended.
Yogi Adityanath took to Twitter to announce his government’s action to cleanse the sins of the previous Samajwadi Party government. He also vowed that any individual found responsible for threatening the future of youths would be sent to jail.
Yogi Adityanath also claimed that there were irregularities in the Uttar Pradesh State Service Commission and assured people that action would be against all the accused.
