Aam Aadmi Party leader Amanatullah Khan.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan shared misinformation on Twitter after the leader on Saturday (29 February) night posted that a mob had ablaze a house in Ambe Enclave Chauhan Mohalla in Sonia Vihar.
However, fire department later clarified that the incident was not related to arson, reports Times Now.
In a post on twitter, Khan claimed that rioters had set on fire a poor household in Ambe Enclave, Chauhan Mohalla and asked when Delhi will stop burning.
Subsequently, the Fire Department was informed and the department later confirmed that it was a normal call and five tenders were sent.
However, the Fire department said that the incident had nothing to do with the ongoing violence in Delhi. Additionally, the Delhi police said that they are looking into the matter.
