Melania Geymonat and Chris (Pic via Facebook)
A female Uruguayan flight attendant and her girlfriend from the US were brutally beaten up in a bus in London by a group of four men, apparently after the couple refused to kiss, reports Metro.
The couple, Melania Geymonat and Chris, were sitting together on the top part of a double decker bus when the group of men noticed them and started harrowing them with sexually suggestive remarks.
The men then proceeded to demand that the couple kiss.
“They wanted us to kiss so they could watch us. I tried to defuse the situation as I’m not a confrontational person, telling them to please leave us alone as Chris wasn’t feeling well,” Geymonat stated.
After that the group began throwing objects at them and it was then that Chris tried to confront over the situation. However, the mean beat her up and proceeded to also assault Geymonat, leaving both women bloodied and injured.
Geymonat lost consciousness for some time, and when she became awake again, saw cops had gotten onto the vehicle. The assailants may be locals as three of them spoke with British accents; however one member of the group also spoke in Spanish.
