Security forces have foiled a major infiltration bid in Jammu and Kashmir's Machil sector in Kupwara district along the Line of Control (LoC), reportedly killing five terrorists, Times of India has reported.
According to reports, Pakistan Army was actively supporting the infiltration bid. Security forces have recovered weapons from the scene. The identity and affiliation of the terrorists is being determined.
Earlier today, Indian Army had gunned down one terrorist in an encounter in Samboora area of Pulwama district.
