As per latest Election Commission data, the Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party is all set to return back to power in Delhi as it leads on 55 seats after 3.5 hours of counting.
The BJP is leading on the 15 remaining seats in the state as the Congress is maintaining its 2015 tally of zero seats.
There might be a spanner in the works for the AAP as its Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is trailing from the Patparganj seat by a margin of almost 1,500 votes.
When it comes to vote share, the AAP is notching a vote share of 52.66 per cent, the BJP is coming second with 39.83 per cent and the Congress is at the third place with 4.03 per cent vote share.
While the BJP has increased its vote share by over 7 percentage points, it in the end was not enough to stop the AAP juggernaut.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
