Coronavirus Update: Total Confirmed Cases Rise To 195, Here Is The State-Wise Breakup

The number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 195, with around 50 cases being reported from various states and union territories in the last two days, as per the latest data updated at 9 am today (20 March) by the Health Ministry.
As many as 27 new cases were reported on Thursday (19 March) from 14 states and UTs.
According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 163 Indian and 32 foreign nationals.
Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients have risen to 19, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.
Earlier on Thursday (19 March), India recorded fourth death due to the Covid-19. A 72-year-old man from Punjab, who had a history of travelling to Germany via Italy, passed away at the Banga community health centre after having severe chest pain.
The total number of active cases across the country stand at 171 at the time of writing this report.

So far 14,31,734 passengers have been screened for coronavirus by the health authorities. Moreover, a total of 14,175 samples from 13,285 individuals have been tested for SARS-CoV2 as on 6 pm yesterday (19 March 2020) by the ICMR.
