Covid-19: Over 170 Cops Guarding Uddhav Thackeray Quarantined After Tea Seller Near His House Tests Positive

More than 170 cops who were deployed near Matoshree the residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray have been put under quarantine after a tea seller near his house tested positive for coronavirus, Times Now has reported.
The quarantined cops used to frequent the tea shop and belong to the Kerwadi and BKC police station. They have been sent to a centre in Uttar Bharatiya Sangh.
The area near Thackeray’s house was subsequently sealed and sprayed using disinfectants.
Besides the cops, staffers of Thackeray who may have come in contact with the tea seller are also expected to be sent into quarantine.
Maharashtra has reported the maximum number of Covid-19 cases in the country at 748. The state has also reported 56 deaths.
