In A Show Of Strength, India Test Fires BrahMos Missile From Naval Destroyer INS Chennai

The Indian Navy, in a show of strength, test fired its Brahmos surface-to-surface missile at the annual Theatre level Readiness and Operational Exercise (TROPEX). The missile was fired from the naval stealth-guided missile destroyer ship INS Chennai.
TROPEX 2017 is a month-long exercise underway from 24 January, witnessing the participation of more than 60 ships, five submarines and over 70 aircraft belonging to the navy. Along with Naval vessels, it also witnesses Sukhoi Su-30 and Jaguar fighters, AWACS, C 130J Hercules of the Indian Air Force, amphibious vessels of the Indian Army as well as vessels belonging to the Coast Guard.
