Total Positive Coronavirus Cases In India Rise To 918, Maximum Cases In Maharashtra Followed By Kerala

The total number of people confirmed positive for the coronavirus in India has increased to 918, as per the latest data updated at 5.45 PM today (28 March) by the Health Ministry.
According to the Health Ministry data, the confirmed cases of Covid-19 include 862 Indians and 47 foreign nationals.
Additionally, the total number of discharged/cured patients have risen to 79, while one patient has reportedly migrated to Singapore as per the latest data.
Total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in India rose to nineteen.
The total number of active cases across the country stand at 819 at the time of writing this report.
Maharashtra has reported 180 total cases till date, a maximum among all Indian states, closely followed by Kerala at 176.
