This resulted in loud cheers from the packed crowd in the Moreta stadium. Trump also expressed his happiness over the elimination of ISIS founder Al Baghdadai which was met with high approval by the crowd.
During his speech Trump also indirectly took an aim against China by praising India’s democracy and tolerance while also calling for greater regional level partnership with India.
He also made a major defence pitch to India by asserting that the US makes the best defence equipment including missile defence systems. The US has strongly objected to India buying Russian S-400 defence system.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
