With 72 New Infections In One Day Total Covid-19 Cases In Maharashtra Rise To 302; 59 Reported From Mumbai

The total positive coronavirus cases in Maharashtra have risen to 302 after 72 new infections were reported from the state in the last 24 hours, ANI has reported.
Out of these new infections, 59 have been reported from Mumbai and a total of eight from its satellite cities like Thane, Kalyan-Dombivli, Navi Mumbai and Vashi Virar. Two new cases have also been reported from Pune and three have been reported from Ahmednagar.
Earlier in the day the Uddhav Thackeray led state government clarified that no decision has been taken to cut the salaries of government employees but they will be paid the same in two instalments.
