In a major development, wanted Uttar Pradesh gangster Vikas Dubey, accused of killing eight policemen last week, has been arrested at a police station in Ujjain, reports ANI.

His arrest comes just hours after two of his close aides were shot dead in separate encounters by UP Police.
As per the report, “Dubey was going to Ujjain Mahakal temple when he was identified by security personnel. Police were informed, he confessed his identity after being pushed for it. He has been apprehended by police & interrogation is underway: Ashish Singh, Ujjain Collector.”
