Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, addressing a rally in Uttarakhand, PM Modi highlighted the widespread support for his government across the country and made scathing remarks at the opposition.

Here Are The Key Highlights From The Speech:

Reflecting on his recent travels, he noted, "Yesterday I was in Tamil Nadu, a coastal state located at the southern tip of India, and even there people are saying – Modi government once again."

He mentioned the same sentiment echoing in the Himalayas, stating, "Today, I am at the feet of Baba Kedarnath and Badri Vishal in the lap of the Himalayas and here too there is the same echo – Modi government once again."

Reiterated the achievements of his government, he noted, "Today there is such a Government in the country, which in the last 10 years has made India many times stronger than before."

Highlighting the significance of a robust administration, he stated, "Whenever there has been a weak and unstable government in the country, the enemies have taken advantage and terrorism has spread its roots."

He asserted, "Today there is a strong Modi government in the country, therefore terrorists are killed by entering their homes."

Furthermore, PM Modi criticised the previous Congress-led government, highlighting their failure to equip soldiers adequately.

He contrasted this with his governments efforts, stating, "During the Congress regime, the soldiers did not even have bulletproof jackets."

"It is the BJP which gave bulletproof jackets made in India to its soldiers and saved their lives. Today, everything from modern rifles to fighter planes and aircraft carriers is being manufactured in the country," he added.

He also emphasised his government's commitment to indigenous manufacturing and financial transparency, noting, "Now the money due to the people is being transferred directly to their bank accounts."

Lastly, PM Modi rallied support for his government's vision, urging citizens to prioritize national interests over personal agendas.

He asserted, "For the Congress leaders, first the royal family of Delhi and then their own family are everything. But for Modi, my India is my family."

Uttarakhand is set to go for polling in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections on 19 April.
