NCC Receives New Orders Worth Rs 1,919 Crore From Central, State Govt Agencies

Infrastructure and building construction major NCC Ltd has five new orders worth Rs 1,919 crore for the month of March from the Central and state governments.
Out of these five orders, two orders valued Rs 952 Crore pertains to the company's Transportation division, and two other orders worth Rs 792 crore are related to its Electrical division.
Further, one order valued at Rs 125 Crore pertains to the company's Building division.
"These orders are received from State and Central Govt Agencies and does not include any internal orders", the company said in a regulatory filing on Saturday (1 April).
The company added that these contracts "need to be executed in a time span of 18 to 36 months from the date of award".
The NCC group is engaged in the construction business and focuses on urban infrastructure, road construction, and township projects through its two subsidiaries - NCC Urban and NCC Infra.
The company develops special economic zones (SEZs) and builds schools, hospitals, roads, bridges, houses, offices, and commercial spaces.
