At a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally in Chennai's Tambaram today (20 June), Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that BJP state president Annamalai will not only become the leader of Tamil Nadu but he can also become the leader of entire India.
"Last but not the least, I have come to make an appeal to you brothers and sisters; Annamalai, Annamalai, Annamalai, Annamalai....who is our BJP state president now; I am in politics for a long time, I recognise individuals and after seeing Annamalai; brothers and sisters, I can say that your Annamalai will not only become the leader of Tamil Nadu but can also become the leader of entire India.
"Annamalai should get the support of all of you. The way Annamalai is working under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and making efforts to implement his policies, how much ever we praise him, it is insufficient."
