Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his speech by praying to Shri Ram and Mata Janaki and congratulated crores of Ram Bhakts across the globe on today's pious occasion.
He also thanked the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust for inviting him to take part in the Pujan.
Prime Minister Modi also urged all the attendees to chant Jai Siya Ram and said that "This chant is not just echoing in Ayodhya but in the entire world."
"A grand temple will now be built for our Ram Lalla who had been staying in a tent. Today Ram janmbhoomi breaks free of the cycle of breaking and getting built again - that had been going on for centuries", said Prime Minister Modi.
Prime Minister Modi added that Bhagwan Ram is etched into our hearts and is a foundation for our existence. Even if every effort was made to erase his memory from people's minds he continues to remain etched in our hearts, he added.
Prime Minister Modi also said that the grand Ram temple will reflect the rich heritage of Indian culture and inspire humanity till eternity.
Prime Minister Modi concluded his speech by chanting "Siyapati Ram Chandra Ki Jai".
