CAT 2020 Schedule Released; Online Registration To Start From 5 August

The Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) have released the schedule for the Common Admission Test 2020, popularly known as CAT, on its official website. The computer based test is scheduled to be held on 29 November 2020.
The online registration process will begin on 5 August on the official website iimcat.ac.in and conclude on 16 September. The admit card for CAT 2020 examination will be released on 28 October and candidates will be able to download it till 29 November on the official website.
The result is expected to be released around second week on January 2021.
The official notification further states, “CAT 2020 process is to be conducted taking into account the COVID-19 crisis. The information provided by the CAT website is contingent upon the decisions and directions issued from time to time by the Central & State governments and IIMs. Candidates are advised to regularly check the CAT website for further information.”
CAT is a computer-based test which asses candidates on the bases of Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR). The test is conducted every year by one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) based on a policy of rotation.
