Doordarshan To Live Telecast Goddess Durga Puja, Aarti From Various Locations Across The Country During Navratri

India's national broadcaster Prasar Bharati has planned to broadcast devotional content including Goddess Durga Puja and Aarti from across the country during the nine-day long Navratri festival this year.
The National Broadcaster will live telecast Durga Puja and Aarti on Doordarshan during the festival, including the famous 'Mahalaya' from Kolkata and Shri Venkateswara Swamy Navratri Brahmostsavams from Tirupati.
Doordarshan will also live telecast aarti from Chhattarpur Mandir and Jhandewalan Mandir, Durga Puja from Kolkata
Further, 'Ayodhya Ki Ramleela' will be telecasted live from Ayodhya on Doordarshan.
"From 6 to 15 October, daily two episodes of Ramcharitmanas will be telecast on DD National," the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said in a release on Tuesday (5 October).
Meanwhile, All India Radio's pan-India network will broadcasting various Navratri special coverage and programmes from various locations across the country.
All these audio visual contents on AIR and DD will be available on Prasar Bharati’s NewsOnAir App and will also be live-streamed on its YouTube channels, the ministry said.
