After the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is over, the guests would be welcome to feast on high tea and dinner as reported by Zee Business.
As per the report, the menu for high tea would include Samosas, Panner dishes and sweets. The dinner service is expected to begin post 9 PM and would include the fabled Dal Raisina which takes almost 48 hours to cook as per the current chef of Rashtrapati Bhavan - Monty Saini.
The Dal a variant of ‘Maa Ki Dal’ is made out of whole black lentils (Urad Dal) and tomato puree flavoured with saffron. The dal is peppered with mild spices and Kasuri Methi which gives it a velvety texture.
Apart from Dal Raisina, other items in the menu are expected to be soups, vegetarian items and non-vegetarian items including fish and chicken.
