Jubilant Food Works owned Dominos Pizza has tied up with Pepsico to be their new beverage partner. The food service company had an earlier tie-up with Coca-Cola, Telegraph India reported .
With this new partnership, Domino’s Pizza outlets in India will serve Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7Up, Mirinda and Lipton Ice Tea across India. At the present moment, Dominos operates in India and Sri Lanka. The company has 1,167 outlets across 269 cities.
“This partnership strengthens our position in the food service segment in India,” PepsiCo president Ahmed El Sheikh commented on the partnership in his statement.
“We are delighted to announce PepsiCo as the beverage partner for Domino’s Pizza India. The partnership will bring in fresh focus on our beverage portfolio,” Chief Executive Officer and Director, Jubilant FoodWorks Pratik Pota said.
In spite of the huge announcement, Jubilant Foodworks saw a grim day at the BSE with the scrip ending at 2.46 per cent lower at Rs 1063.90.
