A huge roar erupted in the crowd comprising of over 8,000 delegates as Amit Shah took stage to take oath as a Minister in the Narendra Modi led NDA government. Like Prime Minister Modi, Shah took oath in Hindi which was administered by President Ram Nath Kovind.
After the exit of Arun Jaitley, it has been speculated that Shah may become India’s next Finance Minister, with Rajnath Singh expected to retain the Home Ministry. Other top ministers are expected to be Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman based on the order of them taking oath.
