ICAI To Conduct Residential Training Program For New Chartered Accountants At IIM Ahmedabad From April

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) would conduct a fully residential training program for newly minted Chartered Accountants at the IIM Ahmedabad campus, Tax Scan has reported.
This program is part of ICAI’s MoU signed with IIM Ahmedabad in 2018 under which the two institutes would mutually offer and co-host customised training programs designed for Chartered Accountants.
The program aims to provide an in-depth domain knowledge and equip participants with business and managerial orientation. Some of the topics which would be covered are marketing, operations, information systems, human resource management and organisational behaviour.
The program would also cover advanced topics in Finance, Accounting and would also help the attendees improve their interpersonal skills like individual dynamics, leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, communication and more.
One can register for the program at IIM Ahmedabad’s website. The program will begin from 7 April and last till 11 May. The fee to enrol in the program in Rs 3.5 lakh with an added 18 per cent GST.
Chartered Accountants who have an experience of less than three years would be eligible for the program.
