Important News For Tata Sky Customers: DTH Operator Revises Prices, Adds More Channels For 13 Packs

Leading DTH operator Tata Sky has revised the prices of 13 curated packs and at the same time added more channels to the said packs to make it more lucrative for customers.

As reported by Dream DTH, Tata Sky has changed the composition of these curated packs as a result of which the prices too have been changed.

Initially, Tata Sky had modified four curated packs namely - Hindi Basic, Family Kids, Bengali Hindi Basic and Marathi Hindi Basic by adding Sony Ten 3, Sony Yay and Sony BBC Earth to these packs. This led to a marginal increase in the price of these packages.

Following up on this modification, Tata Sky made similar changes to nine more packages thereby changing their channel composition and prices.

The nine packages which have been changed are - Family Kids HD, Hindi Basic HD, Marathi Hindi Family Kids, Marathi Hindi Basic HD, Bengali Hindi Family Kids, Bengali Hindi Basic HD Marathi Hindi Family Kids HD, Bengali Hindi Family Kids HD and Family Sports Pack.

Out of these nine, prices of the first eight packages have seen a marginal increase due to the addition of BBC Earth HD and Sony TEN 3 HD to the HD packs and their SD variants in the SD packs. The price of Family Sports Pack has been reduced following the removal of Sony Yay.
