The Indian security forces have eliminated 22 terrorists in the last two weeks with nine kills coming in just the last two days, as per Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh, ANi has reported.
The security forces carried out a total of nine big operations in the last 14 days which also resulted in the elimination of six top commanders. The DGP though warned that as per estimated up to 400 terrorists may be waiting in launchpads along the LoC in an attempt to sneak in from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Around 150-250 terrorists may be trying to enter Kashmir while 125-150 are said to be aiming to cross over into the Jammu region.
It was earlier reported that four terrorists were today (8 June) gunned down by security forces in Kashmir’s Shopian district.
The identities of the killed terrorists or their group affiliation have not been announced as part of a new policy to prevent the youngsters from joining terrorist groups.
