The Madhya Pradesh government has taken action against the accused who was seen urinating on a tribal man in a viral video. The incident is said to be of Sidhi and the accused is a BJP leader.
MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra informed that the accused Pravesh Shukla "was arrested last night. He is in the lock-up and strict action has been taken against him."
He further stated that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has asked to register NSA (National Security Act) against him.
When asked about 'bulldozer action' against the accused, Mishra said, "Bulldozer does not work according to Congress, it works according to law. If there is an encroachment, a bulldozer will be used."
After arresting Shukla from Kubri village, the police booked him under IPC (Indian Penal Code) sections 323, 123, 294 and 506 and also the NSA.
Mishra asserted that under the BJP government, the law prevails and CM had himself asked to take action against the accused.
