The seas on the coast of Karnataka will have a saffron tide today. As all three sitting MPs of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have clinched their seats again.

Firebrand leader Ananth Kumar Hegde from Uttara Kannada will clearly win with 68.91 per cent of votes having a lead of 2,63,312 votes as of now. Dakshina Kannada too is seeing a repeat of the state results with incumbent MP Nalin Kumar Kateel leading with 58.8 per cent of the votes. Udupi-Chikamagalur candidate Shobha Karandlaje is also leading with around 1 lakh votes against Pramod Madhwaraj, a Congressman who contested on the JD(S) ticket.
