The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the Grade X and Grade XII examination formats, reported Times Now. Furthermore, they have released sample papers for the upcoming CBSE X and XII Board Examinations 2019, thus enabling students to get familiarised with the new format.
Sample papers for all the subjects are available on the CBSE website. The number of internal choices offered in various subjects will also be increased in the Board Examinations of 2019.
The circular released by CBSE reported an increase in the number of internal choices by about 33 per cent. However, these choices are limited to some subjects only.
All core subjects of Grade X and Grade XII are covered in this. They include Hindi, Social Studies, Mathematics and Sciences for Class X and Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Core A, Biology, History, Political Science, etc for class XII.
The changes were made by CBSE after assessing feedback received by stakeholders regarding the paper pattern and question papers. CBSE has advised students and teachers to go through the sample question paper. Students and teachers can avail the new sample question paper and new marking schemes for Grade X and Grade XII here.
