The development comes after the Dharamsala-based Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) had written to the Indian government, requesting it to make special provisions for Dalai Lama's vaccination.
The CTA, also known as the Tibetan government-in-exile, had asked the Centre and the Kangra district medical officer to vaccinate the Dalai Lama and those working around him at the earliest, reports Hindustan Times.
The Tibetan administration had also requested for vaccination of the whole Tibetan community living in India.
