United States President Donald Trump has got his best approval rating in seven months, according to a new poll. Trump supporters have more good news in store as the US President is being credited with a better state of the economy than his predecessor Barack Obama, Daily Caller said in a report.
Quoting Quinnipiac University National Poll, the Daily Caller said Trump has hit his highest approval rating of 40 per cent, a number he hadn’t been able to muster since June last year.
This poll also indicated a high point in approval of the economy, with 70 per cent of respondents saying the economy is “excellent” or “good.”
In addition, 48 per cent of Americans, according to the poll, credit Trump for a better shape of the US economy, while 41 per cent said Obama deserved more credit.
Unemployment claims in the US are currently at their lowers in 45 years. Wages in America grew in January 2018 at the quickest rate since 2009.
And in at least half of American states, wages have increased by three per cent, the journal, citing a report in the Christian Science Monitor.
