Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje took to twitter to confirm that she and her son Dushyant Raje - who is also a BJP MP, had attended a dinner party in Lucknow where Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor was a guest.
As Kapoor has now tested positive for coronavirus, Raje announced that she and her son have put themselves in immediate self-quarantine and are taking all necessary precautions.
While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has unfortunately tested positive for #Covid19 was also a guest.

As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and weâre taking all necessary precautions.
As reported earlier, Kapoor had recently returned back from a trip to London and has been accused of not following the mandatory home quarantine protocol.
She has now been placed in an isolation ward. As per an India Today journalist the singer had attempted to hide her travel itinerary from authorities. The party which the singer was part of was attended by around 100 people.
