Free to Choose Network brings ‘India Awakes’, a new documentary from August 15.
India’s growth, post-1991, is a story in itself. Millions of Indians who were suppressed by the licence raj, or those who suffered caste-based discrimination, have since carved a new and better life for themselves in a free economy. Millions have climbed out of poverty by their own enterprise. That is a story India and its citizens must be, and are, proud of.
The same is the subject of a documentary by the Free to Choose Network titled ‘India Awakes: How Freedom Saved The Subcontinent’. It will begin airing from 15th August in America. The documentary will be narrated by Johan Norberg, author, commentator, and Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute.
If you are in the US, try and catch this story of triumphs of millions of ordinary Indians, and let us know what you thought of it.
