Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the revered Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala to seek blessings for the health and prosperity of all Indians.
Arriving at the temple at 8 am today (27 November), the prime minister expressed his prayers for the well-being of the nation's 140 crore citizens, reported NDTV.
During the visit, temple priests showered Vedic blessings on PM Modi, highlighting the spiritual significance of the occasion.
The prime minister's tradition of seeking divine blessings aligns with the cultural practice observed by many leaders.
The visit received a warm welcome from Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
After his temple visit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to continue his journey to Telangana.
