A special court has dismissed the bail application of jailed Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain in a money laundering case being probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Special judge Geetanjali Goel dismissed the bail plea after reserving the order on the same earlier this week.
Jain, who was sent to 14 days of judicial remand earlier, had referred to poor health, particularly sleep apnea, to seek bail through his counsel N Hariharan and Bhavook Chauhan, reports Bar and Bench.
Satyendar Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case on 30 May.
The arrest came after assets worth Rs 4.81 crore linked to the Aam Aadmi Party minister's family were attached by the ED in a disproportionate assets case in April this year.
