Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur stated yesterday (11 March) that it had achieved 100 per cent placement for its third batch of 55 post-graduate programme (PGP) students.
“This year, too, our graduating batch found challenging careers openings of their choice from the campus. I am very appreciative of the industry for their continued trust in us,” said Director of IIM-Nagpur L S Murty.
The institute, one of the first third-generation IIMs to be set up in the country, saw over 40 recruiters making offers during the recruitment process. Consultancy firms lead the final placement process, making 37 per cent of the 56 offers. These were followed by companies from segments like analytics, e-commerce, FMCD, IT and manufacturing. Together, these six sectors accounted for over 70 per cent of the recruited students.
The highest domestic package stood at Rs 20 lakh, while the average was Rs 12.35 lakh.

Also, it was recently reported that all 460 students of the thirty-third batch of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) found jobs within three days in the recently concluded campus recruitment drive at the institute.
Similarly, the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) has stated that all of its students were offered jobs within two days.
